To soften the whole home, we tie into the main water line in or near your mechanical room (where your water heater is). Can you get to it there?
Where would you like soft water?
You've got access for either option. The ideal setup is soft water everywhere except your drinking water and outdoor hoses — pick what you'd prefer.
